My Posting Place

I really didnt want to get into religion here. I come here for support and especially mpp for a good dose of comedy and irony, but if people are going to mock the Bible, then I have no other choice but to defend it. There are simply things about the Bible that, in my perception, basically prove that it is true. I posted that Isaac Newton book. He saw it too. A very rationaly minded individual that invented calculus and was the first to mathematically describe planetary motion. Modern Christianity went off the rails between 200-100 years ago and most of what people are exposed to today is a garbage dump of idiocy. Im here to say that there are truths in the Bible, regarding the rise and fall of world empires, and descriptions of major wars, and developments in human society, things that were written hundreds of years before they occured that in my mind prove it to be impossible to explain without including an all knowing God communicating these things through angels to man. You are not going to hear any thing I have to say in any church, because from my experience, thats where the devil actually resides. This is way beyond Nostradumbass crap. If youre going to debate what Im talking about, then you better know history. Youd do youself wisely to read that Isaac Newton book I posted.

God is good and if you understand His prophecies then what that does is it endows you with an understanding of what is going on with humanity, and our governments, in the big picture. We are nearing the end of the age, and the coming world system is going to be very good. We are about to see the downfall of the current world power structure and it will be replaced with one that is just. Plus there may also be life extension technology and cures for all diseases. This is not Heaven, this is going to be here on the earth. I can explain it.

Your image is funny because the tag number has 666 in it. The pope, or the office of the papacy is actually the bad guy in the whole story. And 666 is the gematria of the word Latienos, or the Latin, Roman Catholic church. This was pointed out long before there even was a pope by Irenaeus of Lyon in the 2nd century. The fact that the picture is 666 and a goofy image of the pope is beyond perfectly coincidental.

Thats the thing that is lost on most Christians today, is that the oldest, and by far largest Christian church, is actually the seat of the great beast empire, it is Mystery Babylon of chapter 16 and 17 of the Book of Revelation. The great whore that sits on 7 hills whose name is 666 per chapter 13.

Nobody 'knows' whether god exists or not.
People can 'believe through faith' but that does not mean that god is a reality.

It is never more than simply a belief or a disbelief.
The image presented of a god of ineffable love, who is ready to cast the unbeliever into lakes of fire (Matthew) fails to convince me.
The bible was written by various authors, and I don't like the blackmail - it's an obvious sales pitch. Believe - or else !!!

However - like you - I am actually searching for the truth.....

things are out of control here

I had to smile - slightly TFF.

I never understood the idea that every thread strictly needs to stay on a certain topic. A lot of threads are redundant threads, and if they didn't stray, then every similar thread would be a carbon copy of eachother.

MPP is based on that principle and it's the best thread on the site. I'm not saying threads like this should be deliberately detailed at all, but stifling tangents that arise from thread discussions (like this one) are part of exploring the idea further.
Yes exactly. You get it perfectly.

I knew about this for several months

There is a ABC, red X, alarm clock, box and dislike that are on the xenforo but disabled
I don't know how they function but they are disabled even if you have the exact url.

The alarm clock would make a good meme about ringing, i speculate dislike and X may have the ability to downvote a rating. Who knows.

First of all in the 1950's there was a paper that suggested being in a silent chamber gave individuals tinnitus by increasing their audiotory brains sensitivity back with Jastreboff was in diapers.

Has anyone heard of this exciting new field of science called tinnitus retraining therapy aka TRT? I think this is our best hope. Why would we want to regenerate hair cells? We'll more than likely just damage them again and create a vicious cycle. Just focus on habituation.

We're making tinnitus great again.

When/if they cure tinnitis I'm going to run through the streets naked and clash symbols and then more than likely go to jail and have to register as a sex offender. But I will be a sex offender that doesnt have tinnitus.

I totally agree with all those habituation refuters that shout loudly that we want a cure.
This condition is pure fucking hell on earth, no question about it.
Of course, the fact that we need a cure does not necessarily mean that we will get one.
We need to help fund, and push for as much research as we can possibly get.

In the mean time, has any therapy, psychological approach, or treatment, proved itself to be efficacious or helpful in any way at all?

Perhaps those who have benefitted from any therapy could join in here.

No. The answer for me is no. It has not.

I quote from The Stranger way too much, but it's not my fault if Camus is relevant.

"I often thought that if I had had to live in the trunk of a dead tree, with nothing to do but look up at the sky flowing overhead, little by little I would have gotten used to it."

Oh the joys of habituation!

IF these drugs coming out cure our shitinitus, do any of you think it will reverse the effects of visual snow/other nervous system affects if someone has it/them?

Good question. I was PMing Kelpie to see if the minnesota device was helping his VS at all. He said it wasn't but he got his VS from a head concussion. Considering that overactivity in the DCN leads to overactivity in the thalamus, and that leads to overactivity in the fusiform gyrus (where the VS is), then it's very possible treating tinnitus will treat VS, if tinnitus is the cause.

Benzos. Acupuncture. Therapy
Can I ask what things you tried IAC?

Let see put it this way. I've had this crap for a couple years. I have scoured every treatment possible. I refused TRT, as I blew threw my savings for doctors, benzos, conventional therapy, hypnosis, acupuncture, chiropractic, cranial sacral,
