Day 4. My high frequency tinnitis sound is still there, but the lower, non fluctuating tone in my left ear seems like it is trying to go away. This shit changes from day to day so much who friggin knows.

Imagine being a university professor with an ongoing research commitment to obtain tenure.

Wouldn't "Tinnitus" be one of the the easiest topics to publish research, mainly to fulfill this tenure requirement?

Like honestly. If it helps anyone then by all means they should use it, cause we don't have a cure yet.

But don't you DARE hog any research money that could be used for a cure.
Also. DON'T don't make it sound like your method is anywhere near a cure. Cause it's not in the slightest. Such a claim massively impedes the impetus for genuine progress. Massively. We probably would have been years farther ahead by now.
F*ckers. Hope that indivual who drinks beer to the fact that we have no cure, only TRT, burns in hell for that for a long, long time.

Yup. Evidence for this theory shows up like every five minutes but for some reason everyone just ignores it (including researchers it seems).

To all who agree with the above - how can we raise awareness of this other than posting all over TT with this info like Contrast does (and Contrast I think that's great, please continue! You know lots about this and you write it extremely well e.g. those questions for the expo)

The cure will probably be regeneration of hair cells. Nerves can heal. They only figured that out like in 2013.

I consider it a very positive development that the fundraiser for DannyBoy, RIP (fundraiser graciously coordinated by ed209) includes only curative research options on its current vote and no TRT BS.

from what I gather, this wouldn't have been the case five years ago.

I heard synapses can repair under ototoxicity to an extent but where did you read nerves can heal or the "audiotory nerve in particular?
