@Ears Hurt , It looks like Stem Cellmia uses self harvested stem cells. Thats the same as Stem Cell Rejuvenation Center in Arizona. I contacted the one in Arizona and got an immediate response and they are very upfront with their pricing. Stem Cellmia's website isn't finished yet under Neurological services yet.
US stem cell clinics will use only "self-harvested" (autologous) stem cells - or they may face serious issues with the FDA. They will also typically refer to "minimally manipulated" cells.
The reasons for this are regulatory. Because they are using the donor's tissue and are only 'minimally' manipulating it, they claim the stem cells are not drugs and are thus not subject to FDA approval. If they were inject a person with someone else's biological material or to provide more than minimal manipulation to your biological material, then they would be giving you drugs that would require clinical trials.
This interpretation is very much open to debate. For what it is worth, the FDA is moving in the direction of treatment adipose derived stem cells as drugs though this is not settled yet.
I would like to see a middle ground between no regulation and requiring clinical trials. No one is going to invest the resources to conduct a clinical trial to extract adipose tissue, process it to obtain stem cells, and then inject the stem cells - there's nothing to patent. Thus, if they require trials for that process, it will not happen. At the same time, I would be more comfortable if there were regulations in place that imposed some standards on the clinics providing this "treatment".
Do they treat hearing related issues at Stem Cellmia? Most places in the US don't seem to claim to treat hearing due to unsuccessful results.
@Ears Hurt I don't know. I need to find out. I asked the one in phoenix but I need to fill out a form first and have the doctors go over my case and they will tell me then if they help me or not.
Since we are on the topic of stem cells, I watched VICE tonight on HBO and it was about ALS and they were showcasing the latest therapy of injecting stem cells into the spine. It was interesting because they also discussed the FDA process and why people have to go abroad if they don't get into clinical trials. They actually interviews drug makers and the FDA and covered experimental medicine. Its a good watch but sad at the same time because ALS is a real bitch of a disease and really needs to "F" off pronto. In a way it's more powerful than a success story from here as it gives you some much needed perspective.

Hey - you are free to choose what you want to believe. if you ask me however, I would be more concerned about an infrequent poster suddenly making an entry about a stem cell treatment after no activity since december 2014
seems weird that someone would join the board after no activity for a year and a half, state they have been treated with stem cells, gotten cancer from it, and then at the same time be in a position to keep track of who is posting as who based on one post alone. if anything, I'd say such a person probably has a couple of other accounts they use...

Agree on all points. but in addition, I would say that one extra worthwhile point to ask would be: what was the result in terms of tinnitus improvement? And why not state it in the first place...
I am not convinced stem cell therapies can not do anything for hearing at this point in time. One resent example: a Stanford professor that did a small clinical trial with injecting stem cells in stroke victims could not yet explain why the results where so positive.

As I already went to Stem Cells 21, I do not really feel the need to hear about your experience as such. I do however have a question for you: could you please tell me where the toilets are located at the clinic of stem cells 21?

I would think someone in research at the ATA would have a opinion on Stem Cells 21 clinic, if they were legit or not? At least it would be another opinion. They must have heard of them and possibly got some feedback.
Let's pray everyone here knows full well that transplanting sheep cells into a human body is beyond a joke and I hope anyone even considering coming near the communication device they wish to contact a cell clinic with would first formulate the proper discourse. For example, how do these cells work? What do they do? How are they not immediately crushed by the immensely powerful active immune system? Demand that they explain this in the most detailed manner their specialist are capable of providing. Or, can they point you to scientific studies which prove it is safe, effective, and sane, to use cross species cells to treat a serious illness. Of which there are none, in which case they can explain why the hell not.
Prof. Dr. Niehans was born in 1880, this is London in 1880;
Mammalian cells are a mystery today, never mind in 1900. All he did was slather a sheep's placenta on someones face. Not unlike the radiated cosmetic creams that came out after Curie had discovered radiation.
When you read words like "negative", "revitalized", "rejuvenation", "anti-aging", "immune system", and so on, so many times in one E-mail, it's obvious that someone translated German straight into bollocks.
They also mention an institute, which is a blatant lie as they're not part of any university. With the level of intelligible content that went into that mail I'd be surprised if they're not just a family of sheep herders that went into skin care.. The clinic they operate is registered as a cosmetics clinic, not a medical facility.
Here is a bit of detail on the protocol (follow the link) and advertised success rate of stem cell therapy for hearing disorders at the Tonson Medical Group:

I easily have a 10% variation between days. I am not only talking about hearing threshold. That already can vary

I know this because I am doing a neuromodulator therapy. Often I need to adjust the volume.
Also some days my hyperacusis and tinnitus are much better than other days. More than 10% variation.
30% consistent improvement I would find easier to link to a therapy/treatment.
