Need Advice Quick (Increasing Today's Prednisolone Dosage from 50 mg to 60 mg)?

I've had tinnitus for 3 months that's getting louder.

Recently I was exposed to a loud noise which increased my bearable T and increased the pitch so I started a second course of prednisolone yesterday.

Today I went to an automotive garage and when I went in to pay my bill for repairs to my car someone was using a really really loud electric drill and somebody else was bashing metal with a hammer!

It's added a whistling tone to my left ear. I've taken 50mg of prednisolone this morning but because of the noise exposure that happened a few hours after taking the prednisolone shall I take another 10mg just to be safe??

Will the side effects from 60mg be too much?

You need doctors recommendations regarding steroids and also tapering instructions.... Love glynis

if i feel i was exposed to loud noise i take 60mg a day for 3 days, no taper down
i store some at home just in case
for a very short period its quite safe
