I have the neurological kind of tinnitus (started after onset of visual snow) with no hearing loss or any issues with hyperacusis etc.
For the first time since my onset of symptoms I've been given the opportunity to attend a sports game tomorrow (football) and I'm just wondering if this poses any risk to making my tinnitus worse due to noise?
Logically, in my mind it shouldn't as loud noises have never posed a problem for me and it seems they are unrelated to my kind of tinnitus but this has been at the back of my mind since agreeing to go. Anyone got any advice on this?
For what it's worth I have attended 100s of these football matches for years before onset of my symptoms and never had any issues with the noise.
