Lol, within the next few years we should have a good idea on a time line. There are a lot of clinical trials that have never been done before. When I got my condition eight years ago there were almost zero clinical trials on the horizon.

Exactly, i understand the negativism sometimes.
but honestly i think we are in the best moment, lots of trials and investigations, like this one!

There was likely the same amount of research but it wasn't available online. IMO they were closer to figuring it out with destructive procedures (vestibucochlear nerve severance, labrythectomy, Intratympanic gentamacin)

there is an image around this forum with a correct number on studies related tinnitus and hear loss
and they are higher than ever, im gonna try to find that table.

It's troubling because I feel like we know enough to fix the problem. It's just a little noise in your head how hard can it be to get rid of or least quiet it some. And maybe it's not in our head it's in our ears but the picked it in our heads so we need to fix our ears first.

Just thought I should post it anyway. Cederroth seems optimistic and says "If we look at the big picture, we're certain that we will find some kind of treatment".
