Ok, thanks. I thought Auricle Inc was the company planning to sell the devices. These are certainly the devices for the Shore study. The company is also in Michigan.
Nah it exists and works; I used it, look for my posts here from ~spring 2016 when I was in the trial. What device? Has anyone seen the device? Is anyone participating in the clinical trial?
So far it looks like the device is in the wishes and dreams of tinnitus sufferers. If you want the device to exist, you must become a believer. Let's pray together...
Are you shore? j/kThese are certainly the devices for the Shore study. The company is also in Michigan.
They have contact info on their page. Shoot them an email. Is this Dr. Shore's device?
I don't know if that is an absolute truth. I know that it was a disqualification for the clinical study, but I thought she gave an ambiguous 'We don't know" sort of answer when talking about whether this could be used on non-somatic tinnitus.I can't modulate my tinnitus at all in any way so it appears these devices won't help me.
Oh, I thought you were in the Minnesota University study conducted under Dr. Hubert Lim, who also worked on Lenire "success"...Nah it exists and works; I used it, look for my posts here from ~spring 2016 when I was in the trial.
Apparently the location of the electrical stimulus will depend on your particular type of somatic tinnitus. How you can modulate your tinnitus will dictate this.Hello everyone, long time lurker here. Just a quick question about the device if anyone from either of the trial can answer or if anyone knows. Is the device specifically individually calibrated to person, or is it that every device is the same?
If your tinnitus gets much worse when you yawn does this count as modulating your tinnitus or is that something else? I can't figure out if I can modulate or not because I try to ignore as much as possible!I don't know if that is an absolute truth. It is exactly the same for me, I can only make my tinnitus worse by yawning or opening my mouth wide.If your tinnitus gets much worse when you yawn does this count as modulating your tinnitus or is that something else? I can't figure out if I can modulate or not because I try to ignore as much as possible!
My understanding is that that counts. If your tinnitus gets much worse when you yawn does this count as modulating your tinnitus or is that something else? I can't figure out if I can modulate or not because I try to ignore as much as possible!
Is it the yawning or opening your jaw wide while yawning? If your tinnitus gets much worse when you yawn does this count as modulating your tinnitus or is that something else? I can't figure out if I can modulate or not because I try to ignore as much as possible!
I think it might be the yawning, there isn't the same extent increase when I just open my mouth wide without yawning. Is it the yawning or opening your jaw wide while yawning?
If you listen to some of Dr. Shore's comments, I think it was in the ATA Podcast, back in the times before everything was pushed back by a year, she said that she hoped to push it rapidly to market when the study was completed.Looking promising. Phase 2 must have given promising initial feedback from the trial participants. Confidence is high.
