Hi all. I've been reading lots of threads here and can't find feedback of anyone that has actually flown with ETD (lots of good advice though).

I have tinnitus in a mild form but just over a week ago i had a cold and was diagnosed with etd. I have tried the ear popper, sudafed, beconase, piriton etc. Nothing is working although the ear popper is making a little difference.

I am due to fly Thursday and am so nervous. Has anyone flown with etd before and what did you experience? I have earplanes at the ready....

Thank you in advance. X

I have flown with totally congested nose and sinus due to a cold. But I forgot to carry along a decongestant. As a result the ears had a hard time to balance the pressure changes and I got dull hearing for a few days. I highly recommend to bring along a nasal decongestant just in case.
