Hi my name is Ashliegh,
I got t two months ago but feels like 2 years. I've never reached out to strangers for help like this before. But I'm at my wits end.
In January 2015 I had a straight forward upper wisdom tooth removed. However 2 weeks later I was was left with a condition called, burning mouth syndrome. Stress caused by that lead me to my GP who prescribed garbpentin. I only took 800 mg before stopping. But two days in I noticed a ringing in my ear.
I've been to see an ENT who confirmed it was t and to me it could go away. And stress was making it worse. Yeah well that's a no brainier. But I didn't need to go to med school to figure that one out.
I've since been to see a hearing therapist who can only be discribed as the nurse ratchet of the hearing world. She was negative from get go. I left with a noise box which is on constantly when I'm home.
Also had an MRI scan get the results on Tuesday.
But my main reason for reaching out today, is for hope. Like I guess everyone here all I wish for is peace and help. I cry most days and take Valium at night to help me sleep. I do try to keep as busy as I can and only read positive things on the internet about t. Don't think I can take anymore negative.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
