In the future when tinnitus will have a treatment or a cure , people will look back and laugh at that TRT stuff

But for the moment, I think TRT is one of the better treatments we have.
Nevertheless it is also only a treatment getting used to T. It explains that T is just a compensation of hearing loss done by the brain. The ultimate goal is that the brain filters T out as a neutral stimulus after a while. And this takes time and no one knows if it will ever happen and when will it happen. We can only trust the success stories, friends we have with T and veterans here that it will happen.
