It's growing wild I tell ya. Certainly tempted to get a trim.
Nothing wrong with a trim. As long as you don't cut it all off!
Oww what's the topic of the essay? Don't overwork yourself Steph - get an early night! Hope the exhibition goes well! Is it virtual, btw?
It's not virtual actually. It's being held at the Ipswich Art Gallery. :) I've been designing the day event to accompany the main exhibition. Thankfully my plans were approved this morning, and I've been given the go-ahead and the budget to do it. It will be the first-ever event I've designed and showcased - exciting! I'll have to upload some photos from it once it's been on.
I actually tried it last month. Got to sleep at 9 pm but slept for 20 hours and completely ruined it!
Ha! That sucks. But 10/10 for trying. ;) I need to sleep, but I know if I do, I won't sleep tonight. I've just gotta push through.

Love these Steph - beautiful photos!

... er... Once... It's been over a year now since you posted your last batch of photos.
How about a fresh batch?
(Just a thought?)

Dave xx
Jazzer.
I'll get to it Jazz!
Can't believe it's been a year!.
Happy this thread keeps going. :)

@aot, glad your root canal went well.

Great pics! You've done quite a bit of traveling! It's nice to have good memories. I too loved to travel. :)
Thanks Twa!

I have travelled to many places in my time. I've been to the Sahara, the Arctic, the rain forests in Borneo. Morocco, Indonesia - the list goes on and on.

I have so many travel photos. :)

I also explore my home country loads. I really do love doing everything and going everywhere, and have friends all over the world. <3

Where have you been on your travels? And what's the best place you've ever been? :)

So I've been awake for 22 hours in an attempt to get to sleep at a normal time this evening and reset my sleeping pattern. I've run out of things to do so I'd thought I'd come and post in my favourite thread. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

My hair is in a similar state! I had grown my hair out super long (down just past the armpit) at the end of 2019 and had decided I was going to start keeping it short again but the pandemic is bringing me back since my last cut

Where have you been on your travels? And what's the best place you've ever been? :)
I have been to Canada, Mexico, England, Scotland, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic and so on. There are so many beautiful places around the world, even in the US! The Canadian Rockies in Alberta, Canada are amazing with clear blue glacial water. The rough terrain of the highlands in Scotland seems almost like another world. The most interesting place I've traveled is Turkey, very mysterious and ancient. So many memories and I'm thankful I could enjoy them and travel before I became a mom. My little guy was able to travel quite a bit when he was younger too!

The only place I haven't been to on that list is Mexico. I don't know how safe it is to visit. It has a bad reputation in England. I would love to go though.

The Rockies are sensational! My family live in Canada so I visit them fairly often. The mountains always take my breath away. I just love it!

I went to Scotland for the first time on my birthday last year. We done a mini road trip through the Highlands in the van. Went across to the Isle of Skye - it felt like I was in the Lord of the Rings films. The landscape and atmosphere was surreal. So moody and dramatic. Really enjoyed myself. :)

Next on the list is the US of A! Never been before, but my family live in Florida, so I'm hoping to go over there soon. I'm hoping when I visit, I can hit up some people from Tinnitus Talk - like @aot :)

I'm glad you are still traveling and planning to travel. I hope that I can some day again. We've taken fun trips to Florida also. We drove through Louisiana, Alabama and Florida. Florida is such a big state, it took 6 hours to get across the state! We stayed in Coral Gables at a nice resort. It was amazing, I picked a place to go and started to plan the trip. We had a 3 year old and he said he wanted to go home for the first 6 hours. The seafood in Florida was great, the mosquitos and the heat were not so great.

Hot damn! Woman, you are gorgeous!
Aww, thanx Steph. And so are you, girl!

You are a sweetheart always making everyone feel welcome in this thread. :huganimation:

By the way, before tinnitus hit me, one of my goals was to visit every state in the USA. So far, I've managed to visit 18 of them. After I got this low drone it has been uncomfortable, to say the least, to travel by car. :banghead: But I have a trip scheduled to go visit Missouri and Tennessee. On my way there I'll check out Ohio and Kentucky. :) It'll probably take me longer than usual, but I'm in no hurry. haha

@aot, for a moment I thought about moving to Florida, but seeing how many people are moving there everyday, maybe I better not. Haha. The quietness of the mountains of TN or the Ozarks in MO are very appealing to me right now.

Anyways, here's to you @Steph1710!

I visited Mexico and I wasn't too thrilled about it. :meh:

But Mexico is so big, so maybe it was the area I visited??

Are you based in the UK?
Steph, no, we are in Ireland. We are in County Wicklow in the foothills of the Wicklow mountains. We can step out the door of our 1700s cottage and be on the path of St. Kevin's way. A bit of history. The walk was a pilgrimage to Glendalough, the home of St. Kevin and his church. The path passes right out our driveway. Now this valley we live in was known way back as the valley of whores, because on the path were places to stop for a drink and rest, where the women of trade sat upon the rocks along the way offering their wares. There's only 3 of the old cottages left standing. We are in one, another is still the same as it was in the 1700s where you have to duck low to go through the doors.

Anyway there you get a bit of history.

Just saw this thread, guess I'm a little late to the party...
You're not late.
Glad you can join us! Great pic!
Darn good thing you put them up @OnceUponaTime because I had a whip man lined up to get things moving.
The "whip uh?"... lol @Ed209
Oh lovely schnauzer. The Mrs used to breed them, best dog a person with a family could have.
This is my second "spoiled" one. :p
My first was silver and I had her for 14 years.
Yes, they are really great family dogs.

Funny thing is that mini schnauzers were breed to hunt rats but Pixie has not one hunting hair on her... LOL.

She loves playing with our chinchilla!!! Go figure!

Wish them the luck of the Irish!!! ;)

Looking down into Glendalough. The piled up rocks were along the way. When I come across them I always leave 2 rocks on a pile. One for family gone, and one for the lost boys in Vietnam.
