Woke up in the wee hours of Thursday morning due to my right ear feeling blocked. It just got suddenly blocked, like there wasn't much sounds I could hear clearly. The only thing I could think of was ear wax. When I asked my brother to check my ear out, he said it was filled with wax. Ever since then, I keep getting this tone in my ear, which sounds quite high pitched. Sometimes it just sounds like a hiss. And rarely for the past 48 hours, has it been silent, but it has, which has got to be a good thing I guess. I don't know if this sound is because of the ear wax, but it must be, considering I got it after having my ears blocked by the wax. What bothers me more is the fact that it is loud and high pitched. Maybe it's because the sound has not bothered me for months, I feel like I need to get used to it again. I'm hoping that it's just that. I don't know if this is considered a spike, but I hope not, because I heard they can be 'scary'. Even worse than that, I hope this isn't a new sound I'm hearing from my T. I seriously hope it will go away soon.

@Hariz Nonis . I think you need to see yout doctor to have your ear wax taken out. To much ear wax will bring on the sounds that you are experiencing .

I already saw a doctor. He gave me a bottle of olive oil ear drops, which I'll have to apply for the next two weeks before getting syringing done for my ears. I am seriously hoping the ear drops won't make anything worse...

I almost think with olive oil drops and a heating pad you could drain the wax yourself.

Well the oil just drained. It came out empty, but since it's my first dose, I'm not too surprised. I'll look into getting a heating pad, hopefully they're not too expensive. I'm still a student so yeah
