I'm going to an iMax movie next week, have not been to a movie since T started last December. Should I wear my ear plug only in my T ear or in both? Thanks for suggestions.

I don't wear earplugs in movies. If I did, I'd plug both - even if I had tinnitus in only one.

I have been to several movies since my T started and I've never had a problem. I haven't worn ear plugs for them. But, I'd hate to tell you not to and then have things get worse for you. So maybe you should just bring some just incase and if it seems like it is getting too loud, wear them. I would also wear both.

I hate going because of the sound levels.

some movies can hit 120+ DB!

""Certain types of high-spectacle movies, such as Transformers, have decibel levels of 90 for almost the entire movie and have decibel levels of 120 for significant periods and at some points get to 130 decibels. Now 130 decibels is a jet engine at about 10 meters," says Dr. Bedolla."

It really annoys me that they are so loud. So stupid.
