Post Your Current Medication / Supplement Stack

Possibly (more like probably), I regained some hearing but at the same time, I can hear my tinnitus more so in conjunction. Something I didn't think would happen nor a trade off I wanted to make.

I'm dumping most of them and will stay on NAC and maybe basic others like Iron, Melatonin, Benadryl, painkillers, etc.
How much NAC do you take daily? I'm currently taking 500 mg a day.

I also started taking about 30 supplements every day now so it's hard to keep track of things. No change in tinnitus but I feel great.

Yep I know about your supplements. I'm happy to hear you feeling great though! I need to take a deeper look at that listing post you made about them.

Yeah for tracking purposes, that's the only issue besides money, what works vs what doesn't. But if only a few work out of the thirty or so, that's easily worth it to me.

For NAC, 1200 mg in the morning. Might do another 600 mg at the EOD before sleep when I take sleeping aids.

I might update a list of what I'm actually taking right now some day soon. Still working out what to take. It's very hard to manage taking so many things at once since you never know what's really working but it's not practical to wait and try each one, one by one.

I still hear my tinnitus all the time but my mood is generally better so it doesn't bother me as much. And I've been super focused on getting lots of things done.

Maybe I need to up my NAC dose. Didn't want to take too much when I'm taking so many other things already.

Would you say your hyperacusis / ear pain is better these days?
I have pain in my ear still quite a lot every day but I think my ear canal is just cut up from wearing the big foam earplugs too much. This has helped my mood immensely because if that's the issue, then it will heal and I am going to get custom made earplugs soon. I'm also taking a large amount of anti-inflammatories but they do not completely take away the pain.

It will take a few weeks of taking these supplements consistently to see the best effects but definitely seeing a lot of positive mood and focus effects which is mostly what I want. That and the pain is low enough not to be too worried.

Since last writing in this thread, I have dumped everything.

That's great man, I'm happy to hear!

Hi,

Can someone recommend me some natural sleep aids/supplements other than melatonin? Melatonin ain't getting it done for me. I'm going to be off Nortriptyline completely in one more week, so I'm looking for ways to improve sleep hygiene naturally. Sleep has been erratic and inconsistent lately.

It's interesting that Nortriptyline helps you sleep. When I was on it, I couldn't sleep for even 1 minute for 5 straight days. I had to quit taking it. Right after that is when my tinnitus exploded and has never improved. Maybe you'll sleep better without it.

I'm using Dayvigo now very successfully, but it's not "natural".

Nortriptyline didn't necessarily help me fall asleep, rather it helped me stay asleep (for longer hours) once I was finally able to fall asleep. Its sleeping effects started to wore off slowly once I began tapering.

I enjoyed my time with Nortriptyline. It was a lifesaver. It got rid of my brutal migraines and calmed me down. Only side effects I'm experiencing is the pins and needle sensations at the moment. It usually happens when I'm working out. Annoying AF at times.

Dayvigo looks pretty good. Shame it's not a natural sleep aid.
