Urgent situation need advice.
So, yes it's true that I have terrible health anxiety. Always worrying about conditions I never have (the ear fullness and hearing loss was caused by wax, which was taken out).
But. I'm still having a major problem from popping the ears a few days ago. My right ear has been ever since, and it gets alot worse if I plug my ears, (pressure sensitive). Now, I've also been feeling a little dizzy... however, this started like 2 days after the valsalva manoeuvre thing. I have done it since because the ENT needed me to do it to demonstrate that I can. I said how the tinnitus started since the popping the ears. He didn't show any concern but asked if I listen to loud music. Which, I don't. Hearing test on the day showed good result.
I've been reading...
Pressure sensitive tinnitus, tinnitus after valsalva manoeuvre, dizziness (which started a while after but could be stress related). No hearing loss though.
Dilemma: I'm supposed to be getting on a plane for a 4 hour flight tomorrow. I'm scared I have like an inner ear barotrauma or perilymph fistula. But, there's no ear fullness of pain or hearing loss, though the internet suggests it could be possible. So basically, since gently doing the valsalva thing, something has clearly happened to cause pressure sensitive tinnitus which is also reactive. What could be going on?
