Cause of Tinnitus
Not sure
I have pulsatile tinnitus and while it's loud during excercise it goes away for a while after excercise. Almost silence! Although it comes back later. Does anyone else experience this? Or know why this is the case?

Yes! Though it doesn't get louder with exercise. My pulsatile tinnitus will go away after some types of exercise, such as handstands, stretches where my head goes below my heart, deadlifts. I realized I can replicate the silence when I stretch my back over the arm of my couch (tipping my head upside down). I have a theory that my jaw and the muscles in my neck have something to do with my PT. I've had all the tests done and my ENT's current theory is that the bone that separates my artery/vein (can't remember which) and inner ear has eroded and is no longer there. I'm going to see a TMJ specialist. He's supposed to look at my posture, jaw joint, neck muscles, etc. Hopefully I'll have some more information by tomorrow. I can keep you updated if you're interested.

I'm not sure if you're PT case is the same as mine, but I hope that this info might add more pieces to the puzzle.

My pulsatile tinnitus is in my right ear and it used to go away when I lay on my left side in bed. I wondered if the cause was fluid, which moved around depending on position.
