It's crazy to think in this day and age that people still don't about the irreversible damage of loud/prolonged noise exposure. I guess it's our job to help get the word out

I can't wait for #TinnitusWeek next year and hope go world wide.
Tinnitus and the causes of tinnitus need more advertising and support and the danger of extra loud sound .
It's time tinnitus was taken more seriously and what it can do to a person.

Not necessarily. Uninformed maybe and many people can go a lifetime with listening to music loudly and going to concerts and clubs without getting tinnitus.

Uninformed, for sure. Listening to loud music is risky, sure some can go a lifetime and listen to loud music or be in loud places and not get tinnitus.....but the risk and the chance of just ONE encounter with a loud song or environment, could possibly bring on tinnitus or ear damage.

I was one of these folks and eventually it made my ears worst and the damage is not reversible. If I knew better, I would have been wiser and protected my ears better :)

I agree! There needs to be more awareness on this matter without a doubt. A lot of family and friends don't know, have never heard of it.
