Cause of Tinnitus
Noise Exposure (Electronic Show)
Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this site and new to my T and seeking some advice. A little bit of background... 9 weeks ago I went to watch a DJ at a night club and when I left I had ringing in my ears. Didn't think much of it but it hasn't fully gone away. It definitely has gotten significantly quieter but it's still there. Almost like a hissing/just noise rather than a ringing. I went to go see multiple doctors and even saw an ENT twice and all have told me it should go away with time. I've gotten 2 audiograms done and they both show no hearing loss. Actually on my second exam I just had last week they told me it looks like my one ear has improved.
However the one thing that's been driving me nuts is the fluctuating pressure/fullness/pain I feel in either one ear of both ears. Like there are times it feels like it's pretty well completely gone, and other times where it feels like it did earlier on.
Another thing I should note is that the stress from this has cause me to grind my teeth and had caused some TMJ issues. Like I don't just have pressure in my ears but my entire face (jaw, sinuses, behind eyes, ears)

All in all I'm getting used to it and it doesn't bother me much anymore, but I'm just looking for some advice on what else to do and some positive comments on perhaps if it should go away.
I should also add that in taking vitamin b1,6,12,100, C, D, Magnesium supplements, omega 3, and recently started taking Ginkgo Biloba cause I heard it might help.
Anyways, this was much more long winded than I thought it would be. Any advice of encouragement would help.

@Jordan V

Welcome to the forum. Thanks for sharing your comments. You've done a lot already seeing the ENT twice. My initial ENT commented its a stress issue. How are you sleeping? I had to work on that, it helps if I sleep better. My T is not going away. Somehow over time has helped.

You, with no hearing loss, a great sign. It's still been not too much time for you, T since 5/16. Perhaps parts of the body take longer to heal. I hope your T fades away. Forever.

Hi James,

I'm sleeping ok now. The first month or so I didn't sleep well at all, but now it's ok. I think stress definitely has a part to play in this, caused when I get stressed it definitely flares up. I'm really hoping mine goes away, I'm just tired of feeling terrible all the time. If it was just the quiet T I think I could handle it but it's the fullness and pain and exhaustion I'm feeling that drives me nuts. And the T flares up when the other symptoms come back. It's just so inconsistent.
