Sure. I appreciate that. I don't think I do, either. I will wait to see what John's results are like before making my decision.
It is still basically the same. Still fluctuating like it used to. No dramatic changes. As I've stated before I feel like my right ear is clearer but there has been no dramatic changes or any breakthroughs.Any updates? Has your situation improved? Stayed the same? Gotten worse?
Maybe, a little, not enough to really say yes or no.Do you find that you hear things better, like conversations or music?
fine.It was always meant to be 2-3 months. Don't lose faith just yet!
So said John.I've got between 2 and 3 months for the full effects to manifest.
He just said it would take a few months. No curve given. He did say my ears will be very vulnerable though and to wear ear plugs when I'm driving etc.So said John.
Did Dr. Shim give some sort of indication of the improvement curve?
Was this treatment regulated by a board like the FDA here in the US? Like did he have to get all his drugs used approved or officially publish exactly what his formula is?
I'm genuinely curious because I know nothing about the Korean medical process.
Think about it, he invented it and he hasn't published yet. What would any regulatory agency go on to make any kind of decision? Was this treatment regulated by a board like the FDA here in the US? Like did he have to get all his drugs used approved or officially publish exactly what his formula is?

I doubt PRP for tinnitus or hearing loss ever gets to the FDA clinical trial phase. There would need to be a control group at some point that receives a placebo. Is it really safe to inject someone's eardrum with saline multiple times? Who is going to sign up for that? Was this treatment regulated by a board like the FDA here in the US? And that is a major flaw in the methods that we use to discover new therapies. The treatment could heal you and the placebo could cause complications.I doubt PRP for tinnitus or hearing loss ever gets to the FDA clinical trial phase. Hi @Johan_L@Jenny_S Have you seen this thread? Might be interesting for you if you live in Korea... Also, do you speak Korean?
John Adams, I just wanted to say thank you for your honesty. Total respect. Most humans, or many, are inclined to lie... their egos and fear compel them to spew lies and rubbish. I want you better, however this plays out, I thank you for your honesty and you're one courageous fellow, 72 injections is terrifying. I have been going through some trials and tribulations that actually trump tinnitus. I have a surgery on Tuesday, if it goes well, I can return to the neurotic world of eeeeeee and tinnitus. I hope I pull through, and I hope your hearing, your tinnitus, and sense of well being improve. I mean that sincerely. Peace out.Maybe, a little, not enough to really say yes or no.
I'm not so sure that this would be a linear, gradual improvement anyway. If this works, I'd expect to just wake up one day with less tinnitus and better hearing. But then again we don't have any accounts of anyone that has successfully had their hair cells regenerated so how can we know what to expect?
I wish I had something better to report at this point.

I agree it's very brave, and integrity is built around honesty.
Thank you for reminding me about that. I meant to mention that as well. I used to get fleeting tinnitus for as long as I could remember lasting about 5-10 seconds and not really that loud before I got tinnitus. After I got tinnitus I started getting fleeting tinnitus 1-5 times every single day and it was always very loud and usually on one side. I still get fleeting tinnitus at about the same rate and the same loudness but they only last now for about 1-5 seconds.or fleeting tinnitus after treatment?
Not adipose. Was this for the adipose tissue regarding the stem cell extraction?
Think about it.Or was this involving the marrow and it was for the platelets?
Good question.Or maybe they took platelets and stem cells from the marrow simultaneously?
Yeah there'll be some scars. My left hip is still a little sore.Do you have any scarring or lasting discomfort?
No clue, didn't look. Felt good, especially when it penetrated my iliac crest. The 6th time was the best. What was the size of the needle?
Yes. He also gave me rhinitis surgery.Did Shim perform this extraction?
No, but that's a good idea. I think he was trying to use all the PRP for my ears.Did they by chance utilize PRP to heal the punctured site?
