Being the Chief Science Officer of MPP comes with responsibilities. Many months ago I suggested @JohnAdams be granted a 'pioneer' badge. Come on @Markku make it happen. John flew to Korea and had his ass injected in his ears. We need to recognise this effort.
How long ago was that?He stopped communicating after I paid the amount.
Bullshit.Warning - Dr. Minbo Shim is dishonest
First he quoted me $8,500, but then increased the price to $14,500 after he saw my audiogram.
For some reason he asked me to pay a deposit of $3,000 to book my place. He said there is a long queue and a deposit would make my case a priority.
He stopped communicating after I paid the amount.
He wanted the deposit paid with Western Union so now I can't get my money back.
AVOID MINBO SHIM!!!!!!!!!!
Prove it. You seem to have only one post based on your profile card, and we can't even see your full profile. If your only post is malicious, and we can't even see your full profile, it's impossible to believe you. Making claims like that without anything to back you up makes me believe this is baseless slander, which disgusts me.Warning - Dr. Minbo Shim is dishonest

Thank you for whistle blowing, if there is anything else you know about him that suggest he is dishonest let us know.Warning - Dr. Minbo Shim is dishonest

Sometimes it's better to use a credit card and then they can dispute your charges. I had that experince in trying to buy some meds online. They wanted to be paid by Western Union, but then what kind of recourse do you have if they are dishonest? He wanted the deposit paid with Western Union so now I can't get my money back.
Could you post the receipt from Western Union. You can delete your name but it will show the recipient of your funds. That's a heavy warning and accusation. Surely you have saved the paper work from that transaction. John Adams experience is completely contrary to your assertion, regardless of the efficacy of the treatment. We all are pulling for John Adams, if this is a prank, it's not funny, cool, or remotely acceptable. People's lives are at stake here.Warning - Dr. Minbo Shim is dishonest

The people at Neuromod have crossed a line!Bullshit.
As of right now this is your first and only post on this entire website.
Where have you been in the discussion?
Why haven't you asked me ANY questions?
Why would you even decide to go before I posed my audiograms?
He didn't make me use Western Union.
You need to offer some proof of your allegations.
Also, if your tinnitus is from "harsh ear syringing" then you have damage to your eardrum, not your cochlea, and his treatment is focused on the cochlea.
I didn't expect to be questioned and made sound like I'm a liar... Why would I lie about this? I work your normal 9-5 job and saved very hard for this treatment. Now I'm $3,000 poorer and feeling worse than I did before. I signed up on this site before John Adams went to his treatment. I had read about Dana White's PRP success. I had read the earlier "South Korean Clinic Treatment" discussion here and because I was becoming more desperate, wanted to try if this could ease my tinnitus and improve my hearing loss which is significant over some frequencies, e.g. I have a hard time hearing people talk in crowds. I don't know why he quoted me a different price. When he was talking to me on Skype (I had a phone call with him too) he seemed sincere but after he got my deposit he stopped all communication. What to make of that? Filing a police report won't help because he's in another country. I'm still recovering from this disappointment, what to do when you can't event trust doctors.Prove it. By the way. $4,500 + $4,500 does not equal $8,500. Neither could $9,000 * 2 equal $14,500. He wouldn't give you a $500 discount. You are obviously lying and your math is hilariously wrong.

Why haven't you posted about this before? I'm sorry I got mad, but I had contact with John while he went through the whole process. I watched him go from extremely skeptical to convinced enough to go himself. He is absolutely not a liar. He has reported his results as accurate as he possibly could with results that have been already fantastic with less than three more months to go.I didn't expect to be questioned and made sound like I'm a liar... lmao you can't make posts like this, not post proof and then act like a victim because people ask for the most basic of things when it comes to making charges.I didn't expect to be questioned and made sound like I'm a liar... Oh is that why ear infections can cause tinnitus?worth mentioning (maybe) that my scarred eardrum has been suggested to perhaps be a contributing factor to my tinnitus, since scar tissue doesn't vibrate as well as healthy eardrum membrane
Lol, I'm totally sure you have ample proof of this. Screenshots, dates, WU receipts, etc.I didn't expect to be questioned and made sound like I'm a liar... Why would I lie about this? The rest of your post seems a bit vitriolic, but this is just factually wrong dawg. Syringing is loud AF and causes tinnitus through hearing damage. Plenty of threads about it on this site, and if you lack that basic understanding you probably shouldn't be talking down to people (even if they are, admittedly, making a pretty extreme and so far unsubstantiated claim). Also, if your tinnitus is from "harsh ear syringing" then you have damage to your eardrum, not your cochlea, and his treatment is focused on the cochlea.
Yeah I wouldn't know anything about getting a syringe in my ears. Thanks for educating me.The rest of your post seems a bit vitriolic, but this is just factually wrong dawg. Syringing shouldn't be capable of damaging the eardrum; drum is pretty tough unless it ruptures, which doesn't happen in syringing.
70-80 times... that must have been Hell.Yeah I wouldn't know anything about getting a syringe in my ears. Thanks for educating me.

It was fun.70-80 times... that must have been Hell.
Thanks for the info. I certainly got plenty of that too. Not even just with water, but with hydrogen peroxide.Ear syringe is cleaning your ears with water.
My understanding is that hydrogen peroxide is ototoxic. Not even just with water, but with hydrogen peroxide.
So far he didn't report any hearing loss or any negative effects, just positives. I guess it's deluded? Don't know.My understanding is that hydrogen peroxide is ototoxic.
Yeah it stayed in my outer ear. Just to clean out residual blood. My understanding is that hydrogen peroxide is ototoxic.
No, it was done the next day, before the next injection. So it was done after a recent intratympanic injection? I have to say that doesn't sound sensible.
