You have constantly said that PRP's regenerative effects sealed your eardrum multiple times. There is also a study that proves what you experienced, though this much is to be expected given the thin structure of the eardrum and the effectiveness of PRP's regenerative properties. If PRP can help heal knee injuries, an eardrum is child's play.
It's just one way ear infections can cause tinnitus. That's when you have otitis media generating so much byproduct (pus) in your middle ear that the pressure becomes impossible for the ear drum to sustain and it bursts.
There are various kinds of ear infections: external, middle and inner. They each have their own risks. I prefer the kind that is further away from the cochlea, for obvious reasons. I don't get to choose of course.

It is a problem if there are holes in the eardrum. Otherwise, it is supposed to be safe.
Probably why it's an eyebrow raiser when it is used during a set of intratympanic injections that are a day or two apart.

Yeah usually holes in an eardrum take a few weeks to heal shut. I'm not sure how PRP affects the healing on holes in the eardrum from a needle, laser, or tubes put in ears. Some people that are frequent flyers have tubes put in because of the rapid descent in commercial airplanes. I had a bad incident in March 2008 when my left eardrum filled with fluid (about 2/3 thirds full) after a descent into MSP. I wish I could do that flight over as it may have (probably did) damage to my left ear. Tried to get my primary care Dr. to drain it at the time but he wouldn't do it.

I haxed into @JohnAdams computer and snagged this photo of him and Dr. Minbo at the clinic after his final extraction.
Artemis I share your enthusiasm and optimism, but actually was reading about a soldier who posted about a PRP injection to his knee that went terribly wrong. I've been looking for the darn post but can't find it. @Contrast responded to the guy. It's there, I'm not lying, read it today...
"Child's play"... 72 injections into the ear drum? Easy does it... John was extremely brave and fortunate that nothing went wrong. This in my mind is scary, dangerous stuff. Any surgery that's invasive, believe me, I just had one. Excellent surgeons, can make it appear to be child's play... Sorry man, just calling you on your choice of words. No offense intended, semantics.

April 18 means that you have still great chance that your tinnitus will improve, settle down by itself without doing anything.
The first 12/18 months are the most difficult... I've been there in 2008.

These chicks that ran a restaurant close to my apartment were really helpful and patient with me because I couldn't communicate to save my life.
Canned silkworm pupa smell and taste like a dusty old hoarder's house that hasn't been cleaned in 20 years on a hot summer's day. They aren't very meaty, they are like slightly crunchy cardboard. My translator that Dr. Shim hired for my appointments said that mostly only older people eat bugs and younger people don't.

I believe John went to him, no doubt about it. My concern is did it actually work?
I know John went, I know John did his homework on hair cells and nerve regeneration but that still doesn't prove Minbo Shim's treatment worked. It has nothing to do with John's character, it's finding out if this treatment is legit or fraud.
