Spike After Panic Attack

@Trish123 Hey Trish, panic attacks can be awful. I'm sorry you had to experience that.

First, you will need to calm your central nervous system down. Try hot baths with epsom salts, magnesium and just doing the things that help YOU relax. The ears sometimes take a while to heal. Be patient and gentle with them.

Are you taking medications for anxiety?

I hope you feel better soon.

I posted somewhere on the forum how to kill panic attacks in a simple manner , look for it.
Works for everyone that takes it to heart , needs some "faith" in the process and determination , but its simple and works.

Oh Lord, can you find it for us? Pretty please? :)

I'm not taking anything for my anxiety. I might need to though.
When I feel Im getting anxious ( which is not often, thank God) I was prescribed 1mg Ativan and what I do is that I cut them in four and I only take 1/4 Ativan a day. This helps me and it is such a small amount that I had never had any troubles starting or leaving it. I take it for a week or soo and then I start skipping days until I feel better and stop taking them. It also helps with headaches.

I also take chamomille tea and 1/2 teaspoon of powder magnesium at bedtime.
Feel better soon ok.

I had a panic attack a week ago and I still have a spike in my tinnitus. How long does it take for ears to heal after having a panic attack?
I don't think the panic attacks damage ears. It's your entire nervous system that gets affected and in turn jacks up the T via auditory nerves. For me it was like someone turning up the volume knob. Horrible horrible. A very short course of benzos helped a lot. But they're addictive so wouldn't take too many or for more than a couple of weeks.

My tinnitus has been louder months after a series of panic attacks that had my heart pounding through my chest and probably sent my blood pressure to infinity. I think it restricts blood flow to the ear.
