Just did some research concerning available stem cell supplements and found out that there's no existing thread which deals with such supplements. These supplements don't contain stem cells, they contain substances which are able to increase/activate stem cells or support stem cell regeneration (based on the advertisements).
Found especially the advertisement of the following supplement quite interesting:
Stem Cell Worx Spray ($59)
http://www.amazon.com/Scientifically-Proven-Stem-Cell-Supplement/dp/B009U2VZ94/
Advertised as follows:
I think this "Stem Cell Worx Spray" is most likely completely useless. Have checked their website and other social media presences. I don't like their presentation, it looks more like someone wants to sell me a new vacuum cleaner on my doorstep. Additionally the studies where they refer to are just general studies about the substances they use for the spray (http://www.stemcellworx.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Stem-Cell-Worx-Questions-and-Answers.pdf). But it's $59 and this mesenchymal stem cell statement has increased my desire to buy it anyway ("I'm a tinnitus sufferer, here's my money." ).
All joking aside. I think it's worth to talk about such stem cell supplements so I have opened this thread. Want to know your thoughts about it. Maybe someone of you has already tried a stem cell regeneration supplement and can share his experiences. We as tinnitus sufferers are trying a lot of supplements so why not give some of the available stem cell regeneration supplements a try.
Other interesting stem cell regeneration supplements:
Enzymedica - Stem XCell capsules ($31)
http://www.amazon.com/Enzymedica-Promotes-Health-Regeneration-Capsules/dp/B0096MDZ46/
(Company (Enzymedica) behind the capsules makes a good impression on me; http://enzymedica.com, https://www.facebook.com/Enzymedica/)
