Lovely to see these photos Glynis.
Unfortunately there are no support groups near me. Our tinnitus association feels it doesn't help to have people get together as it makes them focus on their tinnitus.
I think that's rubbish, people need support.
My wonderful friend @DebInAustralia and I have been talking about setting one up in our town. Meeting Deb, a fellow sufferer, has helped me so much. And I've made a treasured new friend! A positive in my tinnitus journey.

@Samantha R ,
We have lots of fun and talk about anything as well as ear issues.
How everyone has been with their T,
What made them laugh
Have they been out anywhere nice
Have gusets from audiology,BTA,Amplifon, medical students, hospital nurses.
Given talks to Amplifon and students
Play games
Meet up to give out tinnitus leaflets in town centres.
Everyone has a good time and not doom and gloom .
Group sessions
One to one support
Phone support
Give upto date information
Hand outs
We have also registerd with Menieres uk and support people with menieres and our details are on their websight and on the BTA support group list and quiet magazine.

Great if you get a support group going and happy help as much as I can to support you getting it going
....lots of love glynis

Very good idea. Yesterday I went to Doctor and I found many people that have T. I talked with them and I really felt I'm not alone. So I think this is a good Idea to meet others face to face.
Enjoy from your Community Specially Play games;).
