So I've been on holidays from work for a week, just staying home which I thought would be great since it's fairly quiet.
I have spent most of the week reading, although I've also been sick as well with a stomach bug. Great Christmas for me. Normally I don't tend to wear my earplugs at home.
Today and Yesterday I've noticed my ears have been rather, reactive. I know people don't believe in reactive tinnitus but my ears have been reacting. It's currently extremely hot here in Australia. Early 30's here in Sydney. So I've had my air con on quiet a bit. I never realized how much my ears react to it until the last 24 hours. I don't remember it ever being this bad, but it's like my ears go even more high pitched with it on but the moment I turn it off it goes away.
Anyway tonight they seemed a bit more irritated than normal. Currently decibels in the house are in the 40's never goes above that. Which is why I don't wear my earplugs and like I said I have been reading in quiet.
Anyway decided to put my earplugs in just now, no idea why, and I've noticed a new fluctuating tone in my right ear. I feel like it never ends and I know I've been sick and all vitamins have probably left my body so I'm probably lacking in a lot of things and I'm trying to tell myself this is the reason why.
There is no reason why my ears should have gotten worse, none at all. But my anxiety has just gone haywire now. I just really needed to vent. This is not how I envisioned my two weeks' off at home.
