The Sound of TMJ Related Tinnitus?

Hi, I'm new to this forum, have had high pitched T for a while and it changes in pitch and intensity when I open my jaw and move as described in this thread, are there any other exercises other than the link posted or other information that anyone can point me in that can improve the T? If anyone has had success with the exercises it would nice to see those stories. Thank you for any pointers.

Would a inversion table help with decompression of neck and jaw causing T?? Also someone said wearing a splint for 2 years made the T go away. Why would it take up to 2 years?? I'm on 6 months with my splint??

Has your splint helped your noise at all? Does it have bands on it for sleep apnea to keep airway open?
Maybe ear infection did something to your inner ear.

Inversion table or traction may help?

I had tinnitus 95% of the time when it started 9 months ago. Now I have it 50% of the time, although it's still there but basically unnoticeable because it's so low and doesn't affect me. I have slight TMJ and minor neck issues which started when my T started. No bands just an upper splint.

I can actually lower the volume and can make it almost disappear by relaxing my jaw shoulder and neck muscles. Is that common for tmj/somatic tinnitus? Or is that also possible with hearing loss tinnitus?
