I took .5 of clonazapem on Wed night at 8pm and all day yesterday the T was tolerable and even up to when I went to bed 26 hours later. The dog woke me up at 1 am because he was a being a pita and the T was raging to the point I had to take another .5mg. Has this ever happened to anyone. Was it improving or was it the drugs?. FML

This was my 3rd time taking it in 6 days at .5mg. I fight it to the end where I cant take it but I think that it strange because the anti anxiety effects only last for 6-8 hours.

got ya,...this f****ing ringing I never took any anti anxiety/ depression meds in my life. I cant take this hell

Same here Scott :( I have not had to take a single anti anxeity in my life ever....ever...but this has broken me down...:(

I have been taking 3 different anti anxiety medications for all most 30 years to help manage my tinnitus and hyperacusis. I could not sleep without them. What can I say, works for me.

If you get relief I think you should take them.

I still think that your spike will settle down over time.

Good Luck

Yes, benzo will do that! It would have been the worlds most ingenious drug regarding anxiety and T. if it wasnt for the building of tolerance and danger of addiction which is hell on earth to recover from.

Try to find comfort in the fact that you can actually find relief from T. through benzo once in a while. But dont over do it and never mix benzo with alcohol.

I understand what your talking about with them being addictive, I have heard my share of stories about people having a hard time stopping them. I guess I am blessed with the ability to stop them whenever I want to for the most part, with not to much trouble. I have stopped and went back on all of them a few times over the years. The interesting part is that I never had to increase any of the doses. And I generally take them only when I go do sleep, to keep me asleep and they do. I have always had this theory that there are two addictions with medications, physical and psychological, I think that if you take them when your asleep then your conscious mind is not aware of how they are effecting you. That would eliminate the psychological addictive aspect of taking the medication. Can't do much about the physical addictive part though. Some of the medications listed below were prescribed to help control my OCD, but also help with my tinnitus and hperacusis.

I would never mix them with alcohol that's just nuts.

Here is the list

Clonazapam

Lorazepam
Seroquel XR

Note: Please don't post any of the side effects of any of these drugs, I do NOT want to know, it would just add more anxiety to the pile and I do NOT want that.

Thank You

PS: No I have no idea what happened to the fonts LOL

How much is too much klonopin. I read that some people are take 1-2mg numerous times a day. How long todes it take you to get addicted?

I never ever was in need of anti anxiety drugs even though I went trough major heart surgery twice. T. has me.
