I understand what your talking about with them being addictive, I have heard my share of stories about people having a hard time stopping them. I guess I am blessed with the ability to stop them whenever I want to for the most part, with not to much trouble. I have stopped and went back on all of them a few times over the years. The interesting part is that I never had to increase any of the doses. And I generally take them only when I go do sleep, to keep me asleep and they do. I have always had this theory that there are two addictions with medications, physical and psychological, I think that if you take them when your asleep then your conscious mind is not aware of how they are effecting you. That would eliminate the psychological addictive aspect of taking the medication. Can't do much about the physical addictive part though. Some of the medications listed below were prescribed to help control my OCD, but also help with my tinnitus and hperacusis.
I would never mix them with alcohol that's just nuts.
Here is the list
Clonazapam
Lorazepam
Seroquel XR
Note: Please don't post any of the side effects of any of these drugs, I do NOT want to know, it would just add more anxiety to the pile and I do NOT want that.
Thank You
