Hi all,

Do you protect your ears if there is a thunderstorm and you're inside?

Thanks!

I don't protect, but inside is a lot quieter than outside. However, the last storm hit I was turning in for the night, and was certainly glad to insert my earplugs, and call it a day.

Yet another activity I used to love ruined by hyperacusis. Sitting and watching thunderstorms and listening to the rolling thunder as they approached.

I don't wear hearing protection if I'm inside. If I'm outside I might. Unless it's a crack of lightning very near you it shouldn't be a problem.

Of course I protect. The cost is low, the potential benefit of saving yourself from a permanent tinnitus spike is priceless.
