Tinnitus After Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine

Hi everyone, I still haven't taken the vaccine yet. I had developed tinnitus in December 2020, and after hearing the reports of tinnitus being a possible side effect of all the vaccines, and see postings on this website confirming this, I have decided to hold off.

This is getting really challenging. How are we going to survive in a society that is seemingly being divided by the "vaccinated" and the "non-vaccinated"? The consequences get pretty daunting. I am just waiting for my employer to announce vaccination will be a requirement to return to the office. Once this happens, what do I do?

Hang in there everyone!

Now authorities are thinking of providing a second dose of another vaccine to those vaccinated with Janssen...

What a mess...

Yes - I did get tinnitus in my left ear 17 hours post J & J vaccination. I received the vaccination in the left arm. I was vaccinated in mid-March 2020. It has not gone away.

I received the Moderna booster in the same arm in October 2021. I had no reaction or worsening of tinnitus from the booster.

NBC in the US just reported the WHO says this is a very "rare" reaction and are examining potential hearing problems linked to COVID-19 vaccines. They are only examining 367 cases. I find this incredible when I know so many people who have had this reaction. There is even a medical researcher who reported getting tinnitus post vaccination and his data is not included in the WHO's research.
