Hi all. I have been reading these threads for quite some time and decided to join for the support as some days I can't cope.

I have suffered with chronic rhinitis since 2014. Post nasal drip pressure in my face, along with constant mucus. But this time. April gone was the first time I had problem with my ears. I ended up with fluid behind my ear drums and blocked eustachian tubes. That's when the tinnitus started. First it was right ear and then it was my left ear. My right ear is more ringing. My left is the awful hissing. Every now and again my hearing goes and it's loud ringing but then it dyes down back to normal tinnitus.

Doctor says it's down to my sinuses and he gave me a steroid spray which I was supposed to take anyway years ago but I didn't bother. But I stuck to it this time and it didn't help. I have been steaming my nose and taken antihistamines also decongestant but still no hope. I started Turmeric which I don't know if it helps. I drink Apple Cider Vinegar but I have done for years.

My next plan is a Vogel Plantago?

That's my question. Has anyone tried Vogel Plantago? You put it in little water, 15 drops 3x a day, it reaches to your middle ear and is supposed to be very good for inflammation and helps repair your sinuses. Very good reviews on it.

Has anyone got any advice on Vogel Plantago?

Hello, @Sarah Cawthorne, it is nice to meet you.

I had to do a search for vocal plantar, I have not heard of it. My doctor (ENT) told me not to put anything at all into my ears, unless it is something prescribed by him or another doctor. Perhaps you could consult with your doctor and see what he advises.

Welcome to the forum.

Is this what you are referring to?

Yeah that's what I am referring to. You don't put it in your ears. Haha. You put 15 drops in little amount of water and drink it. Supposed to be good. Nice to meet you.

@Sarah Cawthorne,
Try using extra pillows at night to help the post nasal drip otherwise the mucus goes into your eustachian tubes and can cause and make tinnitus worse.

Try a steroid nasal spray and a strong antihistamine, stronger than those at the chemist's, like Fexofenadine .

love glynis

I tried both Plantago and Dymista...

Dymista is a DREAM, especially helping allergies, it's the only thing I've found helps me stop chronically sneezing in the summer months.

Plantago didn't do anything for me and it is horrid to drink!
