Tinnitus and Insomnia for Months — CURED!

My tinnitus is a variety of the loud high-pitched hiss. What helps me best to sleep is putting a masking sound on my phone (go to YouTube and search for "MOST POWERFUL TINNITUS SOUND THERAPY 1 Hr". White noise, etc. can't help much, but this one (meant to help with high-pitched tinnitus only) is much better. My brain focuses on the outside hiss and algorithmic beeps and my own very loud tinnitus largely disappears.

Gabapentin is highly ototoxic. I bet your high pitched tinnitus is between 3600-4000 Hz. Most people who get tinnitus from Gabapentin have it in that range. I took Gabapentin for one month, and I've had tinnitus since April 19th. CBN is also ototoxic.
If you say so. I'd take this with a grain of salt.

Gabapentin has been used in clinical studies for tinnitus to lessen severity. No, my tinnitus is high frequency 12-13 kHz and was caused by vertigo episode and opioids. CBN is not ototoxic. It's an engineered form of CBD oil specifically for sleep.

Short-Term Effect of Gabapentin on Subjective Tinnitus in Acoustic Trauma Patients

Hey, just want to say that I understand what you're going through if you're dealing with this. I had horrible tinnitus at night that impacted my sleep for a months on end and I never thought it would end.

Please understand you will end up beating this. Your brain will adapt to it and it'll either fade away or become background noise that you don't even notice.

I thought my life was over. I was in a living hell. I came back stronger than ever. More successful than ever. With an amazing outlook on life.

Embrace the pain, anguish, anxiety, and depression you're feeling right now. I PROMISE you, you will overcome this and become MUCH stronger because of it.
That's fantastic news and I'm so happy for you.

I believe the processes for tinnitus that is caused by a head injury are different than those caused by noise damage or hearing loss. I think the rate of resolution is much higher. So that it is great news. I am so happy to read when somebody has had resolution of / improve in the symptoms. It is so awful to adjust to. I'm sorry you had the head injury. I hope all other symptoms resolved as well.

My husband first got tinnitus from multiple head injuries - football player. It was really bad in college while playing and then improved. Now I think he just has tinnitus because he doesn't protect his ears at all.
