I decided to read up on "Sexual Exhaustion" and, apparently, a side-effect of said condition is....TINNITUS! I am not going to lie, I am an avid masturbater and easily understand the situation.

From what I read, the condition is reversible, but can any of you confirm this thought?

Thank you! :D

I wonder why the entire population of men doesn't have tinnitus?

Don't forget the hairy palms.

Interesting question!
Personally I don't think there is enough information on pre-disposition to 't', well-being, states of mind, health and energy - and I don't mean on this website but in the world at large.
I can tell you from my own experience that if you are predisposed to 't', like poor health, lacking nutrition, lacking sleep, or over exertion - which would certainly in some cases include masterbation - that tinnitus is a likely reflection of one or a number of those factors.
In part it would certainly make sense that the physical 'stress' - although we would also call it enjoyment :) - that is placed on the body during masterbation is going to place 'pressure' in some way on the veins and nervous system as a whole. Blood pressure does play its part in tinnitus.
On one hand, too much blood pressure may make 't' worse or bring it about in the first place.
On the other hand, the ears as all parts of the body need a good supply of oxygenated blood to function well.
Masterbation which is slow, controlled, where the masterbater is comfortable and relaxed and not in any hurry , is likely to place less stress on the body and as a result far less likely to ensue damage - like perhaps a frenzied succession of 'quickies'. :oldman:

With regards to reversible, it's not so much that something can reverse it - although there may be some things that will do that - everybody is different and may have positive or negative results to any number of tried methods, but that it literally goes away of its own volition. In many cases an onset of 't' merely requires you 'stop' what you believed caused it in the first place! It could be any number of things, but certainly if you have good health in general, are getting sleep, and not stressed out, then anything out of the ordinary may bring it on, or on the other hand, stopping what you don't usually do when 't' arrived, may equally get rid of it altogether.

Cases are all so different depending on the person/persons life. :cyclops:

I didn't think masturbation was reversible. I mean, once you've ...

Who would have thought you could put those two words in the same sentence. Wow!
Well, like they say...if you don't use it...you lose it. I wouldn't worry about T.

"Don't knock masturbation. It's sex with someone you love."

"The last time I was inside a woman was when I visited the Statue of Liberty."

- Woody Allen.

Lol somehow I think this falls more under people feeling guilty about spankin' it. Like they feel like it's wrong to do it, so when something bad happens they attribute the bad thing as punishment for it.

No, I do not feel guilty, but I would like to see what may be causing it. I would appreciate it not being extent.

I would be the last person to feel guilty about it. xD

Congratulations! :)

Couldn't say for sure. Good luck with that.

We don't get much light relief at TT, let alone hand relief.

Hmm, well. Then should I ATTEMPT to abstain from the action to see the result? I have noticed that long hours without it make my T go down tremendously. Usually when I wake up, the T is essentially nonexistent.

I have mastured the technique of it. Everything is quality.

But, seriously, is no one here going to take it seriously? xD
3-5 thats quite a lot man lol..find a hobby jk...but i remember reading a thread on here about a girl who would masterbate around 20-30 times a day so she said. and that caused her T and her t to worsen but other than that thats the only case ive heard.

That seems worth a shot. So to speak. Let us know how you get on. I am curious.

well if masterbating was ur cause then i would assume it can also worsen it since u do it a lot. but since u say its non existing in the am then u shouldnt worry about to much

I do have a hobby. Well, job / hobby. It can be stressful though. So, you know ;)

Well, I think it is one. All I do is studying mathematics and program all day. I enjoy doing it, but I push myself to my limits to be the best I can be. So, a "little" stress can be created.

when i would come from work i would go to the gym, chill watch some the game, or go hang out with friends or go hiking/running.. or watch a good movie.. you need something to keep your mind of it because if u just stay home thats all ur going to think about lol
