And so you think it caused your T?
Seriously forget that, you are worrying for nothing.
Since it is obvious from your postings that you have no intention whatsoever of giving up something that has become such a vital part of your existence, what difference does it make?Haha, I mean, of my case of Tinnitus were due to masturbation. Would it be irreversible, but it seems no one here seems to accept the fact that could even exist due to the action.

I'd say that if you literally can't stop masturbating for, like, a week, then you probably have more serious problems than tinnitus. And I say this as someone who has spanked a lot of monkeys in my day.Hmm, well. Then should I ATTEMPT to abstain from the action to see the result? I have noticed that long hours without it make my T go down tremendously. Usually when I wake up, the T is essentially nonexistent.
I'm not nearly so dismissive. I'd say, go do some research into how the serotonin and dopamine transport systems and HP axis are thought to be involved in tinnitus signal propagation, and also take a look at how orgasm affects those same systems... these are very interesting topics. And so you think it caused your T?

I can stop. It is very easy. I have been abstaining for three days now. The only problem is: is this even a plausible situation? I was just reading something on the Internet that claimed this. I am going to believe it to be true until I have the two - four weeks are up. (Yes, this is ignorance, but it gives me hope, so I do not care).I'd say that if you literally can't stop masturbating for, like, a week, then you probably have more serious problems than tinnitus. I'd say that if you stop jerking off and your ringing stops, and then you start it again and your ringing comes back, then you have your answer and you don't need to worry at all about what other people think...I can stop. I am SO tempted to address that last sentence ...I do. I do not know how you were able infer that from my posts, but I am willing to try everything to rid myself of this curse. I have not masturbated in three days. It is hard, but I am hoping something will change.
You may be looking at this all wrong. Have you had a complete ENT evaluation? If so, then perhaps it's time to take a serious look at how a sound (yes, tinnitus is a sound) can make you so scared and so worried. Maybe CBT would be a good option for you in that regard.I am very scared and very worried about this. I want it to go away and trying every outlet that can be a cause is hope for me.
And, I cannot help it. A mix of anxiety and OCD makes me prone to worrying about every little fine detail until proven otherwise.
But, seriously, is no one here going to take it seriously?
What gives you the impression that we're not taking you seriously?...
Don't think that just because we inject a little humor into the thread. Here's a joke from the female side of the subject:
Q: How does a woman know that she's had a really great orgasm?
A: When it wakes her husband up.
LOLOLOL! Well, I have realized that masturbation is a not the cause and it is more than likely a made up concept. TMJ is my cause.
