Tinnitus at 21 Years Old

It is interesting that the tinnitus started in your case after taking antibiotics.

It reminded me of a MD that linked disturbances in the microbiome with brain problems. I checked again and his name is Dr. Derrick MacFabe. For example here:
He is claims that bad gut bacteria secrete propionic acid, and that propionic acid leads to many other problems related to brain and behaviour. Mainly related to mood disorders and autism.

Perhaps Dr. MacFabe just didn't get to check what happens to tinnitus patients. If this is true, then a low carbohydrate diet, with plenty of green vegetables may help you restore your normal gut microbiome. And then it eventually (and indirectly) reduce the severity of your tinnitus.

Hopes this helps.

i blame my tinnitus partly on an ear infection ive had for 6 years (causes minor discharge but no tinnitus or pain, baffles all my ENTs) and mostly on the medication i was given to treat that infection called ciprodex. after my treatment the tinnitues started and the discharge stopped. 7 months of T later the discharge came back, and the T went away.

i think the thing to take away is that even after 7 months.... it just went away one day pretty suddenly over the course for 48 hours
