Cause of Tinnitus
unknown
I have tinnitus from early 2015, when I was 14, no hearing loss, ENT didn't helped at all, now I sometimes notice that my tinnitus gets louder when I open my jaw and lower when I massage it, idk lol.

So yeah, I have had tinnitus for 3 years, before that I didn't have any plans for life, I was depressed, I used to start thinking about my future, do I really want to end up as a minimum wage worker with fucking ringing in his ears? Everyday now I wake up, tinnitus is my motivation, tinnitus has really changed my life, I can even sleep without a fan now. Just don't resist it, the more you resist the more it's gonna ruin your life.

You have a beautiful positive mind! I wish all the best for you and your future endeavors! Thank you for making this post.

If you told your ENT about the opening and lowering of your jaw, etc., he should have at least been able to refer you in the right direction, such as a Dentist, Oral Surgeon, or possibly an Orthopedic Surgeon. You may have a completely ---curable---situation.

I wish I had your symptoms!

Tinnitus changed me for the worst, broke my dreams, hopes, left me like a zombie wondering around.

Mine does that too. Now usually I don't agree with habituationposting on the success story forum, but this could lead to an actual success. Try getting your jaw looked at. Tinnitus going down when you massage your jaw is a big indicator of TMD.

Well they're wrong. Yes it can be fixed and fixing it won't make it worse. Sorry they told you that.

If you overcome the loneliness, it won't be as big of a problem, there are a lot of people with tinnitus, more than you can imagine. Just

Good luck I hope you get answers. I'm thinking of visiting a physical therapist.

I have TMD as well and have had surgery for it in the past, and my tinnitus stayed the same. Braces didn't really affect it either, for me.
