Tinnitus Classification for the General Public

So that translates to you are doing f**k all.... cool story bro
I'm not on a high horse, if anybody is trying to make waves on their "high horse" that's you buddy.
Actions speak louder than words.
And exactly what kind of action do you propose I do?

I already told you, I refuse to get involved in projects, that undermine tinnitus...

Yes action speaks louder than words, but I'm not so sure if you speak English...or maybe you are just confused?

So you're doing nothing then. The tinnitus community is so apathetic it defies belief, and the most effort I see from the naysayers is when they attack the ones who are doing all the work.
That is your opinion... Look I don't really need the cure that bad.
My tinnitus is mild to moderate these days... but there are people on this forum who need help really badly.
This is why shit like "don't be afraid of tinnitus" piss me off.

And don't underestimate the power of sharing ideas on forum boards... this is what I'm DOING.
I'm not sure what else I can DO, so why don't you get off that high horse as well.

You do realise you will drive all the real advocates away with your constant complaining? Why should people bother to help when this is the shit they have to put up with.

What I find ironic about people accusing this post of "scaring others" is that we are not the ones scaring off tinnitus sufferers.

The tinnitus is doing that all on its own.

Guys - I seriously think that those of us who experience 'hell on earth' with this vile wretched condition, must be prepared to write it up, and get our story out there.
Nobody else can tell our story can they?
How could they?
Nobody but us can even know!

We get very upset, of course, when we feel that our plight is diluted by the habituators, and homogenised into the mild handicap category.
Is it not really up to us to redress the balance?
Or am I wrong?
Surely, we are the only people who can do it.

I am currently experimenting with the video film idea, which is very tough, because it would obviously blow my cover - my anonimity would be shot.
My professional performing life has gone for good, so in a sense, there is no financial risk left for me.
Let's face it.
My phone which was always full pelt, will never ring again.
But some of you guys on here have truly terrific writing skills.
One can always write anonymously.
Why not guys?
What do you think?

I was hoping to plant some kind of a seed and maybe people from here to send it to their friends, whom would maybe send it to theirs.

It would be a good start... social media has lot of power...if enough people share it, who knows.

What's stopping you. For fuck sake. Plant some kind of seed? Translation: I can't be arsed so I hoped somebody would do all the fucking work for me. Dear me, take a seat and shut up. You're doing my head in now.

And who exactly are the real advocates if you don't mind me asking?
Is it the people whose AIM is to make sure that people are not afraid of tinnitus?
What exactly is your definition of complaining?

What I'm doing is pointing out the apologist bullshit, that is further delaying any chances for people like @Bam to be cured.

If you don't know that by now then you really haven't done anything or been involved in anything. It's blatantly obvious and goes without saying.

Your personal attacks do not interest me...and sharing a post is not really too much work for anyone (at least I hope not).

Also...getting told to "shut up" from a guy who not to long wrongfully accused me of trying to shut him up and "censor him" is really rich.

Do you even read your shit buddy..seriously.

Didn't you say you were writing a book? Do that, get the message across via a blog, YouTube video, take part in TT awareness and write your story. Funny thing is I agree in what you say in regards to people downplaying this condition in the medical community, media etc but I don't see you doing anything to try and help outside the forum. This community is f***ed when we won't even help ourselves and then moan when people are trying to make a difference, the mind boggles.

Yes I speak English, poorly I may add but for a dyslexic I think I do alright, but thanks for your condescending comment it's much appreciated :huganimation:

he has repeatedly twisted my words around as well. he has replied to several of my posts and insinuated that I've said things I didn't. Welcome to trying to speak the truth.

John, I defend you constantly, even after you send me abuse. I tried to help you by highlighting some major red flags with Minbo Shim, but yea, I'm the bad guy.

I give up.

I'm out of this thread now, it's draining what little energy I have left nowadays.

Good night guys and gals.

Yes I was, but then I run into a problem.
Turns out some people don't want me to use their quotes because they are not comfortable.....that was the whole base of the book.
Back to drawing board I guess.
At least I'm trying.

Anytime... after your condescending comments to me, you had earned it.

Maybe you are one of those guys who can dish it out, but can't take it?

In crowd?? What does that even mean. There's no getting through to you guys, so I'm out.
I was asking you a simple question... you answered with bullshit to the sense that somehow I'm supposed to know who the ambassadors are.
Well I don't..so perhaps you could fill me in if it's not too much trouble?
But I understand if you have to run...;)

Come on fellas - a quick chorus of:

"Auld Lang Syne"

'All together now....'

"Should old acquaintance be forgot......etc...."
