We are going to Vancouver for the TRI 2020 conference, and we want you to join us there!

The conference will be held from 21-23 May, with a pre-conference workshop on 20 May. More information on the conference, including the program, can be found here.

Last year, in Taipei, we managed to bring you a range of reports from the conference in written and video form. I was there by myself and worked my ass off to get all this done. But really, it was an impossible task. So, this time, we'd like to be there with a small team, so that we can simultaneously attend the conference sessions, interview researchers, network and more.

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our conference team. It's an awesome opportunity to meet tinnitus researchers in person, represent other tinnitus patients, and inform your peers on what you learn there.

Please fill in the above (confidential) form to let us know you're interested.
We will select a maximum of three people from the interested candidates.

 I was afraid of this. At least it's just been postponed and not cancelled.

How badly will this affect Tinnitus Hub's coverage of it?

It shouldn't affect it. As you know, we were supposed to be presenting there about Citizen Science, in addition to the usual conference reporting. We're still able to attend and do all of that at a later date and hopefully get a few others from Tinnitus Talk join us too.

We'll update this thread once the new dates are published.

EDIT (March 20, 2020): There won't be any TRI conference in 2020. The next one will be in Dublin, Ireland in June, 2021. No decision has been made whether a Vancouver conference might take place in 2022.

Too bad. I used to live in Vancouver and most of my friends still live there. Would have been happy to fly out and do that and say hi to the old gang while I'm there.

I plan on being on Europe this Fall for about 2 months - depending on how COVID-19 falls out - so if anything is coming up in that time frame I'd be happy to help.
