Tinnitus Since 1992, Cyclobenzaprine Seems to Help

Hi, I have had this disease since 1992. Broken steam pipes 24/7, coping with it after the first 6 months, have been told it is from working in mainframe computer environment for over 40 years. Have to say it does mimic the sound of whirling disc drives. I was prescribed cyclobenzapine for a muscle cramps in my back. A unintended result is a reduction in the sound of my T on 3 out of 5 days. It does seem to help, but never cures. Just a FYI.

@John S, I have a similar steam sound as you and it's very, very loud. I am using Robaxin (another muscle relaxer) that seems to help. Not sure if it works on the brain or muscles in your neck that could be in spasm. Another post where a person named Tim got results from Flexeril.
