Tinnitus That Started at the Same Time with a 'Migraine Aura'?

I've had a horrible high pitched ringing for almost ten years. It started at the same time I had a migraine aura and I haven't ever had bad loud noise exposures.

I have migraine auras very rarely and I don't usually get a headache with them. I've probably had less than 10 of those auras. Is it possible that it's rather menieres?

Got an MRI done and it seems like I have a 'non malignant' brain tumor. However the doctors say there's no way how it could be related to either tinnitus or the auras.

Thanks @Markks for sharing your story. I'm coming to believe there's a fair amount of overlap between migraines and tinnitus, and your post is a little more confirmation.

Markks... ditto...! Same here, had severe migraine followed by severe high pitched tinnitus, 2 months now... not getting better... today not good for sure... Will pray and meditate more, all I can do...
