Can anyone recommend a clinic which I can go to for a hyperacusis therapy such as TRT or anything whatever they have?

I have been contacting those on the TRT list but none response whatsoever. Since my plan is to go there and rend a place and be there for my therapy (involves time and money) I really would like some clinic which is open to discuss arrangements via e-mail prior to my arrival.

So first-hand experiences would be the best? Please? I feel like a fool not being able to find something on Google and I think I am a good Google user :)

Maybe try London Tinnitus Clinic you will find on google.
Love glynis x

@iAzra Your acoustic shock disorder could be medically related. How bad was your nose hit? Do you have any discomfort in the upper part of the back of your neck? Does your jaw and teeth hurt or any TMJ/D problems related to dental work? Along with this - eardrums vibrations and unnerving noise exposure conditions take place. You may have to treat that and your medical / teeth conditions along with your acoustic shock and hyperacusis disorders. When at the dentist keep your neck balanced to your shoulders, use a pillow under your neck. You will of course need to have mouth open for dental work, but try not to tighten jaw and move neck forward.

I'm in the exact situation as you with the same experiences, but my C1 C2 in my neck became dislocated and my neck straighten, but my jaw is even more related to my T, H and acoustic disorder. I finally went back to the dentist and I stayed relax and had no further beyond problems. I also hit my nose after the dental jaw and neck whiplash which caused all my problems.

I am in great fear from the dentist so will not be going soon.. I have had the neck MRI after my H onset.. didn't mention anything unusual for my age.. I could have TMJ since before.. but right now I'd mainly like to do something with my ears sensitivity..

TRT is a scam anyways. Just saved you (or the taxpayer) a couple grand. yw.

Here is a clinic in Graz. They are a few hours drive from Croatia. You can call them up and have a talk. They speak English and they are very friendly.
I heard they had some good results with tinnitus sufferers. I have an appointment on the 27nd.

Since in a study about TRT and treating hyperacusis shows that TRT is less effective than cheaper and better methods, I would suggest that you don't.

What are those cheaper and better methods @threefirefour?
For cheaper, CBT, just reading the book, or online therapy (like on YouTube) more pricey but effective is WNGs.

For better, ACRN and rTMS have shown to reduce tinnitus volume. Professional ACRN and rTMS can be almost as expensive as TRT though.
