What Do You All Think About Lobbying a Company to Create a 20 kHz Hearing Aid?

I trialed a pair of £4500 oticon aids which were up to 12khz. Zero improvement in my T and the eeeeeee just rose above all the masking sounds from them. Disappointing. But worth a free punt.
Why were they free Bam? I'd like to give them a bash if one can get a free trial.

60 day trial. You have to buy them but if you do it on finance you only pay out two months before it gets returned if you hand them back. To be honest my experience was not good. The ENT I saw recently believes they fudged the audiogram to show loss that wasn't there just to sell me them.

Hey Bam, do you remember the Oticon model that went up to 12 kHz?

Minbo Shim Doctor
Well, it took a bit of looking. I assume you mean (http://cmclinics.com/).
It's hard to say. Apparently he does injections that improve hearing. I don't know what he injects, and I don't know about the long-term results or safety. If hearing loss is the cause of one's tinnitus, the testimonials suggest it well help, and certainly, restoring hearing is great, with or without tinnitus.

He is extracting mesenchymal stem cells from bone marrow and also plate rich plasma from the blood. It is believed, perhaps already proven, that the growth factors in PRP and MSC's regenerate the damaged organ of corti and regenerate hair cells.

@Dr. Jay Hobbs

I think every person that has actively and knowingly supressed development of meaningful treatments or cures for any disease deserves to be imprisoned in a gulag for the rest of their life to toil in slave labor. What do you think?

actively and knowingly suppressed development of meaningful treatments or cures
I agree John. That is cruel. I suspect most of the suppression is well-meaning -- That is, they
  1. don't want to get people's hopes up for something that will leave them dashed on the rocks, more hopeless and more broke than before
  2. don't want to expose people to something that they believe may be truly harmful
As a Chiropractor and a Christian, I am used to varying degrees of suppression. Although it may irritate me, I deal with it better thinking that it is well-intended.

I'm a Christian too therefore I know that there are thousands upon thousands of fallen angels fallen to earth and influencing the hearts of wicked men and women, mostly men. Their "well-intentions" are based on a range of evils that go from foolishness and fear to greed and hatred. I know that sounds crazy to many people but it's what is plainly taught in the scriptures.

Do not be so naïve to think that everyone has empathy. There are many people running large parts of society that only care about themselves and people they are sentimental towards and that is their "good intentions" .

No. I'm sure you're probably going to tell me the guy lied to me and they don't go up to 12khz. It wouldn't surprise me as he also lied about my audiogram.....Assholes.

I wasn't planning on telling you that at all. I just was curious the model number because I didn't know about an Oticon model that went to 12 kHz. I guess if I found out later after research that it didn't, I would plan on telling you.

Thanks bud. I would be curious if you find out. I couldn't tell you the model as I returned them a while back. I 100% asked the guy if they went to 12khz and he said they did. But he was sketchy for sure looking back
