As I await my audilogy and ENT appointments, I've been desperately trying to figure out what might be causing my symptoms. I've been diagnosed twice (but not by a specialist) with eustachian tube dysfunction due to allergies. Someone mentioned TTTS to me and I looked it up, and my symptoms are strikingly similar. I have:
-Constant ear fullness even though my ears "pop" often throughout the day
-Ear fluttering due to specific triggers such as yawning
-Jaw pain
-Tinnitus
I also have severe anxiety, which has been sort of linked to TTTS. However, from what I've read tinnitus due to TTTS is either the kind that can be heard by others OR more of a "rumbling" or hissing sound, whereas mine is an actual electronic ring (like of a TV that's on but muted) and is in my ear 24/7, at varying volumes. Is it possible to have TTTS that produces this type of tinnitus?
