This is all about the Frequency Therapeutics' FX-322. I think this is it. The end is in sight. A big component of our suffering is not knowing if we will ever have our lives back. I think we can have great confidence that this will totally restore our hearing and destroy all tinnitus. I think it will. This information has destroyed my fear of tinnitus and I still have it, but my confidence has taken the boot of fear off my neck. Yes, I am a dumbass that gave myself tinnitus being a wannabe rockstar in my basement music studio shredding loud ass guitar. But suddenly I have great great hope that the drug is already there and they know more than they're telling us even here.

This may even cure vertigo and all kinds of other stuff. Just have hope. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Let's just hope that it's not an oncoming train.

They are going to start phase 2 trials sooner than later. I think our nightmare is about to end.

Lol it's fun and cool until someone screams at you and you're running away with palms clamped against your ears shaking and weeping. :nailbiting:

In layman's terms... What's this FX-322 about?

There are some positives, at least for me. There is something about having a conversation with another person that causes my tinnitus to be fade to the background, sometimes to the point that I do not remember I have it. It's a funny phenomenon, but it's happened many times. I find myself actively seeking out direct contact with people and having conversations rather than sitting in (what used to be) silence. It's not just listening, but also the act of talking. I'll take happiness where I can find it

The feeling of guilt is painful. I did not spend a single day without regretting that concert, believing that I was protected by using some plugs. I also have a feeling of resentment towards musicians, the entertainment industry and, perhaps, society in general.

a new realm of technology that is focused on regenerating our damaged cochleas and possibly curing tinnitus. there are 16 humanoids in this world right now with this stuff in their gnoggins testing to see if it works.

I tried very unsuccessfully to whip up support on this site to get an advocacy movement started to try and get the FDA to fast track this drug and I was basically just told to sit down and shut up.

Misery loves company.

Good video. I hope something comes of it soon. When do we find out the results of the 16 test subjects?

we won't for this trial, they will. all they will tell us is if it is safe or not, which they already told us last year in the first trial. doip*.

I think this trial is actually like an internal efficacy trial. this way they can bill it as a safety study, which probably costs less, and then determine for themselves if it does work to then move into the next trial.

does that make sense?

people just don't get how bad this disease really is. if they did there would be a large scale government funded program to find a cure.

Sorry of, thanks.

I heard another classic from a friend yesterday... 'at least you don't have to walk ten miles every day to get water.'

No point telling him that I would walk until my feet bled and then I would crawl on hand and knees all day every day from morning to night for the next fifty years to have silence.

People massively do not get this. It's f***ing tragic.
