I had a spike from headphones about a month ago and I was doing good and getting better. I went to a football game last night and it's a little louder now so hopefully it will do the same. I'm taking Zymactive which is like predisone due to the game only being within 48 hours. hopefully that helps but in your case, I would just let it run it's course. Your brain is more powerful than anything else in this world and with the right mindset and believing in yourself, you'll see some improvement soon.

I had a spike in August. Not sure what exactly caused the spike but I guess it might be from clenching my teeth a lot due to high anxiety levels. Anyhow it's still not completely back to baseline but it has definitely got a lot better than it was the first months of the spike. Back then I could hear it over everything except the shower and in crowded places with a lot of noise from people talking. Now on the good days it is barely noticeable except in quiet rooms. On the bad days I notice it everywhere but it is not nearly as loud and intrusive as it was the first month. So hang in there. There's still a chance that it will get better!
