What Is Your Dream Job?

Worth it though!

Well, from what I understood there aren't many positions over here and a lot of pilots are jobless... So over here it doesn't seem to be worthwhile... especially if you already have a good job which you enjoy.

Luckily enough there is Flight Sim :).

If you really enjoy flying you could do a "private pilot license " which is relatively cheap in some parts of Europe

My dream job would allow me to travel, meet interesting people and to be on a never ending adrenaline high.

Wait, I had my dream jobs. The first was when I was in the Army and the second was when I was an electrical lineman!

Interesting that a couple folks on this thread want to be writers. I've made my living as a journalist for almost 42 years. And while it's been a great job, I HATE the actual writing part!

My dream job is to be an interpretive ranger in our beautiful US national parks. I hope to do this in a few years. In the meantime, plan to take some courses and get training to make me a better candidate. Wish me luck!

I guess I'm doing it! I love sewing and teaching. I do both at the fabric store where I work. I also want to be a doula. That is helping mamas with their birth, making them comfortable and helping them recover. Then getting the breastfeeding going well. I have helped by daughters-in-law and a couple friends. I have lots of personal experience as a mother to eight, all natural births.

I love sharing my experience to help others! Teaching is my first love.

I would love any kind of job at the moment! Only had T for a few weeks so not been able to do my office job due to lack of concentration, sure miss the money!
If I can't go back I would be happy to be a road sweeper lol!
Anyone hiring?????!? Happy new year to u all xxxxx

Dream job: To be a financially successful writer.

*Anyone can become an author these days using Amazon Publishing. Been there, done that, will do it again I suspect. But making a decent living at it is very hard. The upside of this is that anyone can publish nowadays. No more sending submissions off to agents and editors who simply reject them.

I also write for a living. Always said I HATE writing, love having written. ;) All the stuff you need to learn, the thought you give to write good lines, the structuring of the text... Sitting and writing is just a small step, maybe the most painful. I think it was Hemingway who said "Writing is easy, you just seat at a typewriter and bleed".

So, I used to have my dream job. Not so much since mr. T came and took my concentration away. Hope it gets better.
