What Makes You Relax?

My policy is to automatically place anyone who confesses to smoke weed on my Ignore list. I am not interested in what those people think.

Then just ignore us and keep it to yourself... You have just proved your ignorance Mr. Bauer.

You have been on my ignore list for a long time (I believe that it was for this reason, and the posts that I saw you make since I temporarily unignored you a couple of days ago confirm that this is in fact all I need to know about you).

Thank you for your advice to "keep it to myself." My answer is: No.

It would be inconsistent only if I were to care about what alcoholics have to say [while not caring about what junkies (or whatever it is you prefer to be called) think].

You will be missed. ;)

p.s. Wow - I see that you guys don't even need to worry about cancer! You know - good for You!

Real mature bill... If I'm already on your ignore list, then why am I still hearing your petulant, close-minded, sanctimonious nonsense? You couldn't leave well enough alone and had to follow Chris and me to this thread and call us junkies. People like you are exactly what is wrong with our society, throwing stones while they live in a glass house.

I notice an increase with any method, especially wax and clear, the stronger the product the worst the spike for me, although with increased tolerance comes lower spikes. I'm ok with it though, I would much rather smoke than drink.

Do you see a spike right away with weed? or is it a few hours later?? I didn't have T for like 4 days like 3 months ago and celebrated by getting drunk and the next day my T was loud. Could have just been a coincidence.

I notice it right after consumption, the spike dies off as the high tapers down, at this point I'd say the spikes are really subtle, increased tolerance has brought them down a good amount. Alcohol is a known ototoxic substance so that probably has something to do with the next day spike, could also be due to poor sleep quality as alcohol can greatly reduce REM sleep.

Ooh so alcohol is supposed to get you a spike the next day?? Yeah I cut wayyy back on the weed. Prob only smoke a very small amount 3 times a week.

This is an interesting chart for sure. Admittedly Marijuana is objectively better and less dangerous than alchohol, and it's well on the path to legalization. However most of the stuff posted in this chart in favor of weed is slightly dubious. I'm fully in favor of legalizing btw, Go Green!

What about people who used to smoke? I used to but I gave up because it's an unhealthy habit. It's a step in the right direction.

Yeah it's not the best chart ("cures cancer" should be "treats cancer" and "non addictive" should be "not physically addictive") but I didn't feel like making my own, lol.

LOL! You are so unused to using logic (and it appears that you are also not used to seeing any of the friends you smoke weed with use it) that you think that screeching "Autism!" when someone uses it is a good idea.

I hold alcoholics, junkies, and other people engaged in what I consider to be disreputable activities in contempt. So his argument that weed is better than alcohol was not very convincing to me.

Thought this thread was for ways to relax haha
It has made me laugh so I suppose that's relaxed me reading it......
Ive worked with recovering drug addicts and alcoholics for the past 8 years or so I've seen the damage drugs and drink can do. That being said I would never advocate drugs but I've seen the postive effects of medical marijuana can have on people with certain ailments. I would never judge anybody for smoking weed especially recreational (but that seems to be the drug the majority of recovering drug addicts start off using)
You can't place everybody in the same box and don't I like that way of thinking it's pretty closed minded.
We all have different opinions when it comes to a wide range of issues, we should be respectful of each other's thoughts and opinions wether we agree or not.

So everyone that smokes pot is a "junkie", and everyone that drinks is an alcoholic? And you really have the nerve to call me illogical? Also, I thought you were putting us marijuana smoking drug addicts on your ignore list, what happened to that bill? You seem to live in a world that is disconnected from reality, it's hard to believe that you hold the clout that you do here.

everyone that drinks is an alcoholic?
Not everyone.
Also, I thought you were putting us marijuana smoking drug addicts on your ignore list
I felt like clicking on the "show ignored content" text link, and so I did (and then I felt like defending against your personal attack). I am flexible. Don't worry, I don't plan on continuing doing this.

Personal attack? Weren't you the one that called us "junkies"? Weren't you the one that followed us on to this thread to stir up an argument? How you fail to grasp the fallacy in that assertion is beyond me.

Ok, you do have a point there!

My bad.
