Beautiful! Upstate, @OnceUponaTime? I spent part of October in Lake Placid several years ago. Magnificent.
Beautiful view! I know the area a little bit, I drive up near Stewart airport quite often to visit a really good friend and also the Woodbury commons outlet!Thank you! Well...I am 60 miles from NYC. Lake Placid is really Up-Upstate.. Have you herd of Greenwood Lake?? Part is in NJ and part in NY. LadyDi I want to move to Florida. We had 15 degrees temp last night! And it is only Oct! I need my heat! lol
Share your window view! I want to see Florida!!!
Absolutely beautiful! Do you go there often?? So peaceful by the ocean. I grew up on the beaches of Western Puerto Rico. Nothing like the calm and peace it brings. Not exactly my window view but one of my favourite beaches (Torquay, Victoria)
25 minutes from me! Funny thing I never go there. I think it is overpriced. Too many stores so I can't concentrate..lol. I've only been there 2x in 12 years.Woodbury commons outlet!
LOL... sucks uh??!Sucks to have to wake up to this every s i n g l e morning!
What kind of music did the pilgrims listen to? (you said the answer!)LOL... sucks uh??!
@Forever hopeful Thank you, the number one reason for buying this house was the view. You can always paint, fix and change the way your house looks... but the view is a hard thing to change! For 13 yeas I wake up to that view and it never stops from putting a smile on my face. I do want to move down south (chasing warm weather.) I sure hope we can find a home with a view like this. It helps me to relax, it is peaceful.
I want to visit Plymouth Rock.
I so enjoy the warm weather...really does not bother me. I grew up in Puerto Rico where is hot and humid 12 months a year...lol. But the winters here are taking a toll on me. And taxes are ridiculously high. I need sunshine and flip-flops!!!!!!!!! My husband has a different opinion... he enjoys the mountains. Tennessee is an option, maybe. My Florida home views. Stay in NY, I miss it after only 3 years here. Way to hot & humid 6 months out of the year.
there are still a lot of beautiful, cheap places out there. I live in a relatively modest (rented) condo outside of washington DC. Having looked around a bit, I know that the same money I'm spending on rent here, would buy me a 1800 square foot house with lake access in Vermont. It's all relative. If you want an 1800 square foot house with waterfront access in DC, you'd be spending 10 times or more what that costs in Vermont. And yet, based on numerous studies, quality of life is higher in places like vermont than it is in DC....Are all people on TT millionaires or what?
You made me laugh! I take it you've seen it. I am sure there are soo many more beautiful places to see in MA... But I do enjoy history and visiting these places makes it more real than just reading about it.It is really just a rock. Seriously. Nothing special to see. It is in the ground with a canopy around it. So many other cool things to see in Massachusetts.
Danielle
So true.It's all relative.
I just have a million dollar view. Are all people on TT millionaires or what?
