Hey guys. I went in for my brain MRI yesterday. Been having tons of issues. I was diagnosed with Meniere's a couple of years back, but things have gotten worse, so my neurologist suggested on the safe side to do a brain MRI.
Anyway, I asked for something to calm me down before going. He prescribed just 1 mg of Xanax.
Within an hour the ringing stopped, the hyperacusis was gone, and ears were opened up.
This is after four weeks of straight Hell. I slept better last night that I have in months. I woke up this morning to silence once again.
I remember in the early stages going to my Meniere's specialist and he put me on Xanax but I never got it filled.
I am going to call my neurologist today and explain what happened and see if he could put me on a small dose on a regular basis/or whenever needed.
Has anyone had any experience with it, if so, whatcha think?
