    Meniere's Disease

There are some evidence that meniere's is related to herpes viral. Try doing Dr. Gacek's antiviral regiment supplement with John Ohio's regiment, with extra vitamin C. I am currently trying this for my "atypical" meniere's since all I get is the hearing problems (which went away about 2 days...

Scared — Will I Get Used to This?

You'll prob get used to it soon. Try not to be so anxious. Even if it doesn't go away naturally, there would be treatments soon (you can read about them online). I know it might take years to come, but it's better than being anxious and lose your ability to (sort of) enjoy your life now. I know...

How Do Celebrities Cope with Tinnitus?

Some of us have mild T that is ignorable, like mine. Since mine isn't acoustic trauma induced, I am okay with loud noises as well. But it doesn't mean I can blast music.

How Do Celebrities Cope with Tinnitus?

Ryan Adams has meniere's disease. He has to deal with hearing loss, tinnitus, and vertigo. Anyways, don't fret. A cure or at least a proper treatment will be here someday. My bet it's within 10 years.

    Child w/ Pulsatile Tinnitus?

I think I had Pulsatile Tinnitus when I was younger. It only happens when my heart beat is off the roof, and it sounds like a rumble that beats with my heart. I actually didn't even know it was actually a form of Tinnitus, but as time went by it vanish. I don't know why, but I haven't felt it...

A New Tone Out of Nowhere

Genetic factor plays if your family has a history of hearing problems. Tumor affecting the audio nerves can be determined by MRI. Increasingly fluctuating hearing loss, and with Tinnitus signifies either an auto-immune disease, and if accompanied by vertigo, meniere's syndrome. OFC there is...

A New Tone Out of Nowhere

Do tones just magically appear out of nowhere? If you kept your ears in well condition (no persistent exposure to loud noise), the hair cells shouldn't sustain damage other than from aging. However b.c studies recently point to the brain as the source of T, hormonal changes could add to your new...

This Works: Convince Yourself with Serious Meditation and Chakra Music That You Do Not Have Tinnitus

Self hypnotism. It works if your T is mild. For example if i sit in a silent room, my T fades, well rather it blends into the background which somehow I feel I can hear as well with my left ear (my right ear being the ear with T). But this breaks easy.

SSHL and Tinnitus, Don't Give Up!

Did you have a history of SSHL? This last year I had 3 occassions with SSHL, not profoundly severe in the first 2 occasions. Rather my ears felt full like that on an airplane, and hearing was a bit muffled. I know it's SSHL because when I hum or talk, I felt like my own voice is blocked...
